Kool & Elfring are BACK in BLACK with an all new mod for the BLACK ROSE!

This modification on the BLACK ROSE amplifier enables you to morph it's delicate clean channel into a fearsome hot-rodded Plexi. The original gain-pot is replaced by a so called 'push-pull-pot' which is hand-soldered to a tiny custom made printed circuit board. When you pull the 'push-pull-gain-pot', several parameters in the circuit are being altered dramatically, changing ch1 into a super flexible, all-plexi-style circuit.
Like the original, the overall sound is three-dimensional and open sounding with super tight bass response and very pronounced mids, yet without the annoying hum-noises. Another huge benefit compared to the original circuit is the addition of the BLACK ROSE acclaimed double master volume and SVC circuitry*. It adds enormous tone versatility ranging from ‘60’s 3rd stone from the sun’ all the way up to late ‘70’s eruptions’ and 'early 80’s back in black’. In addition it makes it possible for you to play at lower volumes without thinning up the sounds or destroying the sustain. When the gain-pot is turned up, it is easy to ‘clean up’ with the volume-control-pot on your guitar, just like the original. The plexi mode matches channel 2 like 'they were made for each other'. Toggling between ch1-plexi-mode and ch2 two feels so natural! For example we like to use ch-1-plexi-mode for open chords, fingerpicking, funk and other subtle stuff, then switching to ch2 for palm muting, heavy riffing and soloing.
